Football Fun for Francesca
 
Many thanks to Uncle Berni who arranged three days of Football Fun for Francesca 26 - 28 July. Thanks to all the wonderful children who attended, together we raised £652.25 and had a great time! Special thanks to Michael Harris and Mark Seymour of Parklands Tigers for their coaching expertise and Parklands Tigers for providing the facilities and equipment necessary. They were supported by Sandy Hamill (ex Gregory Celtic) and Martine Swords of Danetree School, Daventry. Wollaston School students, Myles Jordan and Louis Jordan were great also as coach assistants. The meet and greet team of Marika, Helina and Annie Donnelly perfomed most efficiently and carried out the boring admin tasks with a big smile.
 
Goody bags contents and other rewards were provided with the generous support of Nationwide Building Society , John Henry Sports and The Kings Park Tennis Centre in Moulton Park. Northampton Town Football Club also provided very generous support and helped to inspire a new generation of Paul Stratford, Steve Massey, Trevor Morley, Ian Benjamin, Ray Warburton and Bayo Akinfenwa!

Grateful thanks to all who attended the fund raising dance at St Francis Centre in Birmingham on Saturday 28th August. Many thanks to all involved in organising the event particularly Jack Coleman. Ticket sales are still coming in and a final total will be announced in due course.

Thanks to Adam Baker and Richard Higgins who ran the Dartmoor Mountain Marathon for Francesca finishing in just over ten hours and awarded 40th place. Thanks guys, donations are still coming in so watch this space for grand total.
